Mags: "Mama, my left hand is my favorite. It does whatever I say."
Did you know it was National Left-Handers Day today? I learned about it from our friends over at Milestones & Miracles. This is a perfect day to celebrate
and learn more about in our household since Mags is a lefty.
We'd love for you to share it with us!
Show of hands. Who here is a lefty, too?
Okay, she is darling! Just read your tweet and the original. My four year old is showing left hand preference, too. My brother, who is a lefty, tells me to make him change. But the teacher in me is just going to see what happens.
ReplyDeleteYep. I'm going to see what happens. It usually is set between age 3 and 4. She's always been stronger with her left. :P
DeleteI write righty, but throw left-handed (also bat, [mini]golf and hold the tennis racket either side, usually righty. I bowl righty). With all I know about my preferences, you would think I actually play sports. I adjust my Wii accordingly.
ReplyDeleteGood thinking with the Wii!
DeleteNed Flanders is a lefty. Remember the store he opened?
ReplyDeleteThe Leftorium? We LOVE Simpsons in this household!
DeleteAmy's little sister is a lefty
ReplyDeleteSo true, Baby Sis is all Lefty!
ReplyDeleteOf me and my 12 cousins, 5 of us are lefties (including me!). None of my kids are lefties, yet. Confession: I get a little sad every time my toddler uses his right hand for something important. He's my last hope for a left handed kid ;)
ReplyDeleteMy 3.5yo is showing a preference for her left. I love it and I hope it sticks!!!
ReplyDeletePS - when are you coming back to Mass??????? We have to make a date!
One of my sisters is a lefty.
ReplyDeletebut your daughter is too cute to hold that against her!
