Ketchup With Us - Prompt #8

Today Michele and I are talking about family traditions during the holidays. Some of them have been passed down from generation to generation, like my grandmother's handmade ornaments. Others warm the cockles of our heart, like snuggling under the blankets with our own children watching the same Christmas specials we did as a kid. Others make us giddy with anticipation like opening the mailbox to find it chock full of holiday cards from family and friends. In any case, we all have them. And today we want to share ours with you ... and invite you to do the same with us.

Day after Thanksgiving, still stuffed full of turkey, we waste no time creating a magical atmosphere. Chipmunks squeak Christmas carols as we dance around the kitchen waiting for the hot chocolate to cool.  The tree goes up, the lights get strung and the ornaments tell the story of our family. 
Then the finale, an honor each year...
