Ketchup With Us - #14

Michele: "You know who you look like?"
Mel: "Your banker teller?"
Michele: "No. Not today. But really, I'm not sure too many people would know her. She's the character on Grey's Anatomy. You know, the one who died?"
Mel: "That doesn't sound too good for me."

And this was when we began discussing our ideas for who each other's doppelgänger would be. I told Michele I thought she looked like a YOUNGER Diane Lane. She told me I needed glasses. (She takes a compliment so well.)

As we dove further into the conversation, we decided that we'd write each other's 57 words for our look-alike.  After scouring her profile pictures on Facebook, I came across one I couldn't resist. A little downloading here, a bit of cutting and pasting out her husband there and VIOLA! I had my masterpiece. You can see it in her blog post here

Then I received the one Michele wrote for me. I thought for sure I'd be compared to Marge Simpson. However, this was the person Michele decided upon...and who was I to disagree? Thanks for the compliment! You are WAY too kind.

Bow Before Your Future Queen by Michele

She's strikingly charismatic, she has a very interesting accent and she's married to a prince. Of which refined lady am I speaking? Are we sure they aren't one and the same? Wait. Wouldn't that mean that Mel could one day be Queen of England? Well, just queen consort.

(Sorry, Mel.)

    1. You're the greatest, Guap! Thanks for that. And funny, but Chris' friends say I look like Kiera Knightly, who I think is Natalie Portman's twin. :)

  6. Oh wow! I really do see the resemblance! I so want to link up, but I don't think I have a celebrity doppelganger. I'll have to think about this one...

    1. You are so sweet! Doesn't have to be a celebrity. My daughter said I looked like a brunette, crazy haired Barbie and also that my husband looked like a Lego guy. Also, I dressed up like Marge one year...so she could be my doppelgänger. Go for it and think out of the box! :)

  7. Wow, royalty! Mel, if I had only known? Think of all the gatherings we have been at where I should have kissed your ring or bowed or something? I have tweeted you one of the many flattering individuals I have been compared to! However if KBar will have me I will participate. Do I have to photoshop a picture?
