Ketchup With Us - Prompt #19

I don't know about you, but I am so ready for summer break. Tuck gets out of school on Friday and then we have BIG plans to do absolutely, positively NOTHING for the next two weeks. The kids will dictate what time we'll wake and our activities for the day. And if that means cartoons for the first few days in our pj's eating popcorn and drinking milkshakes, then so be it. I'm here to be supportive.

Summer vacation got Michele and I thinking about this week's Ketchup entries. We thought it would be fun to take a walk down memory lane and write about the best vacation (or staycation) that you've ever had. Come share yours! I know the first one that popped into my head...

My best vacations happen through the eyes of my children. A ride here, a character there...it’s fun to reminisce. But then, you bring your child.  Every fiber of of your being is on pins and needles to see what THEY will see next. It doesn’t matter where you are...as long as you are with THEM!

Our esteemed Ketchup With Us Featured Writer for today is...

  1. I'd love to go back to Disney World with my now grown up kids. I think it would be just as much, or more, fun than when they were little.

  2. I took my step-daughter to Disney when she was 4 and the look on her face when she walked into the Magic Kingdom was priceless. I can't wait until my little one is old enough. She is only a year old and I want her first visit to be one she can remember.

  4. This is so cute! I love Disney so much. It got my attention b/c of "ketchup" which is my 3 yr old's FAVORITE! Her dad always tells her she's delicious and thought it would be funny to put ketchup on her toes and nibble them, now she ASKS US to do it all the time. WHooops. Probably should have thought that one through!
