A Dog's Purpose - Giveaway

Tuck: "Hey, Mom. Hurricane puked in his crate."
Me: "Okay. I'll go clean it up in a second."
Tuck: "You don't have to cause I already did."
Me: "Really? Thanks! That was super responsible. Plus it's a really gross job."
Tuck: "Yeah, but you know what, Mom? If Hurricane was a human, he'd do it for me."

PERSPECTIVE
So many cared and tried to help me find the perfect one. I looked high and low. I was inquisitive. Always searching. There were so many to choose from, it became overwhelming. Disappointment after disappointment, nothing panned out. I did my best to show my true self, to reveal the gem I had inside waiting to shine. I held out hope. But then it got to be too much. Through the ups and downs, I tried to let it go. I even tried to give it away a few times. But just as I would, there would be something that made rein it in and pull it back. Over time, I began to guard it with all my being. I locked it away, forgetting even where I put the key. I became down trodden and the feeling of hopelessness washed over me. I changed. I became a non-believer. And then, just as the hope was completely drained, I saw them. Surrounded in love, acceptance and patience, they embraced me. As much as I tried to hide it, we all knew. We were meant to be together. And then, with one tender touch, one gentle caress, I melted a bit. I felt myself let go. I crept toward them, believed in their smiles and goodness. I felt their positive energy and pure acceptance of me. And in that moment, I heard a click. Unlocked. My heart was free. And my forever family was here.

Hurricane's purpose was to join our family, bring us even more love and adventures and keep us laughing. He licks the tears away, eats fallen bits of veggies and plays until everyone collapses. We adore our little Hurricane and know we rescued each other.

Which is why when our family saw the trailer for the upcoming film, "A Dog's Purpose," we all put our thumbs up and took note of when it came out on the big screen. Based on the beloved bestselling novel by W. Bruce Cameron, A DOG’S PURPOSE, is a sweet and lovable family film that shares the soulful and surprising story of one devoted dog (voiced by Josh Gad) who finds the meaning of his own existence through the lives of the humans he teaches to laugh and love.  Told from the perspective of “everybody’s best friend” the film highlights the importance of familial bonds, and the unconditional love we have for our best friends.  The movie stars Dennis Quaid, Britt Robertson, K.J. Apa, and John Ortiz. This heartwarming story comes out nationwide on January 27th!

Are you as excited to see this film as we are?
