Oh how I miss grown up music. And by grown-up music I mean, no Taylor Swift no Justin Bieber no one direction. And none of the stuff that Lance listens to.
What Guapo said. My son can't fathom there's actually something different that I'd like to hear. Oh, and it's most definitely not any kind of modern rap.
I am not looking forward to the day that my kids get interested in "today's music", because now we listen to Maroon 5 and Train in my kitchen, my iPod spouts Barry Manilow, next to Rhianna, next to PINK and then of course Pat Monahan and Adam Levine...and the boys love it, dance, know the words to lots of the songs (their favorites..Rolling in the Deep by Adele, Love Somebody by Maroon 5 and Hey Soul Sister by Train)
I will be very sad when they find their own music, my hope is that they'll follow their dad and embrace Springsteen, Townsend and Joel (whom I adore) instead ;)
BWhahahaha oh how I have been there..

ReplyDeleteI thought the other day as I was flipping through the stations, "How do you even know what they're saying?" And POOF! I was my parents. :)
